To be honest before i went there, i never heard this name. This waterfall might not be the most famous waterfall in Malang, but worth a shot. I'll tell you why :)

I went to Coban Pelangi (Rainbow Waterfall), on 1st Sept 2014 with my teammate at PDAKI FEB UA. Well, just FYI, the possible translation for PDAKI maybe Data Center and Financial Analysis of Indonesia. Sounds cool? Haha. I join for an internship. Because it was an "office's employee travelling", i didn't pay anything for this trip except train tickets, food and tips. And it wasn't cost that much. How nice!

Coban Pelangi is located in Desa Gubugklakah, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang. This waterfall isn't that far from Bromo. Most people might visit here after Bromo, like i did. Just like other tourism object, first we need to pay entrance admission only for Rp 6000 per person. Then enter the gate, and walk, probably around 1,5 km (?). The path is clear and we just need to follow the way. There are only beautiful green view as far as my eyes go, which is really great.
But the thing is, you walk downhill to meet the waterfall, and that's a bit steep. Me and friends be like:
Oh My God, just how we gonna walk this incline later??? *and cry*
Cause we actually don't exercise that often, and we just climbed Bromo few hours ago. This challenge is actually killing us.
But nope! Keep going.

Btw, don't worry if you need toilets during your walk, because there are 2 spots where toilets are available. In each spot, also there are sellers if you want to buy drinks or snacks, even instant noodle. Also a spot for Mushola if you probably a Moeslem.
After you passed those 2 toilet spots, soon you will find a bamboo bridge to cross over the river. Don't hesitate to take photos, this bridge is somehow a nice photo spot! :)

Bamboo Bridge (1)

Bamboo Bridge (2)

After the bamboo bridge, walk a little bit more. Just a little bit more.
And.......

Coban Pelangi (Rainbow Waterfall)

Taaa~~~~ raaaaaaahhhh!!
You've arrived at Coban Pelangi!!!

Just like another waterfall, the water is cold but super fresh. It's okay if you decided to swim, but way too cold for me. I put only feet into water, for photo purpose only. Hahaha.

Cold yet fresh water :D

I think my photos with water sparkles
over my camera lens turn out so nice :D

Special thing about this waterfall is, you can see many rainbow. Small to big rainbow. If you visit at the right weather and time (they said the best time is in the morning), you'll see a big rainbow near the cliff around waterfall. I wonder how beautiful it can be. But even if you don't get to see a big rainbow, as long a quite strong sunshine is present, you still have a small, but many rainbows. I see rainbows everywhere at some spots with a nice sunshine. They are small and at your hand reach. So wonderful :)
(Apologize. No rainbow photos were capture :| )

The small rainbow, it works like... when you spray water to plants in a garden, and there's sunshine so somehow you get to see rainbow on the water you spray. I can't explain it with a right science -_- but it works like that.

I suggest to stay a bit longer at the waterfall, or near the bamboo bridge, to make your walk worth. Hehe. Because your way back will probably be tiring if you don't usually walk.

Well, so don't hesitate if you have plan to visit Coban Pelangi. Go visit ! :)

Green view during your walk :)
On our way back, and this is probably the only "flat" path.
After this, only stairs and incline. Haha

I wrote this article in purpose of reporter recruitment at an ASEAN organization. Unfortunately i didn't make it. Most possible because of TOEFL certification, i don't have any. Or probably what i did is just too bad and didn't reach their standard. Or other applicants were just too good to compete against me. Or...? Whatever :/
If i were accepted, i think i can have a new media to explore myself in writing. I love to write since middle school, but these days i don't really have media where i can publish my write (I don't know why but my college's organization is just a community i can't mixed into. Too bad i tend to run away if i don't feel comfortable with people. Sorry, my bad). Plus, they will pay around USD 40 for each article. Such a waste i didn't make it.
Anyway, i wrote this article with some efforts, i feel so bad if it's just stuck as my file. I decide to put it here. This is a lost article, so if you read it don't expect a good one. *sigh*
Enjoy~~~~~

In case you havent heard, Surabaya weather is sunny and hot. However, the burning sun wont stop participants dance. Yet their dances become happier and full of laughter. As they dance, quite few groups will sing a simple and short jingle they made themselves to boost their confidence and spirit. Those jingles are usually a remake of some famous and catchy song in Indonesia. They changed the lyrics song with their own.

After each group creates their masterpiece, here comes the most wanted part. Free rujak uleg for visitors! Visitors can freely visit any table they want and have some rujak uleg. Wassup today blogs?

I feel sooooo unproductive these 3 weeks. This semester i just need to finish my 'skripsweet' and that's all. Sometimes if you just have one and only task to do, your heart mind and even soul all together be like:
Just-do-it-tommorow.

That spell is simply stuck in my brain. As expected, i do nothing. Well, okay.. not really. At first week i came to library browsed e-journal, which gave me a good one. A good one for me is the one i can understand. Too bad that wasn't happen often. Difficult and hard research is everywhere but here i am, be like:

I want to laugh at myself. But in result, i finally have 2 e-journal on hand. One is a result of my browsing, another one is journal that i and my friend used in previous semester. Following what my friend do, i ask profesor (?)(nope, he's not profesor yet), whether these research can be used for my skripsweet or not. Prof be like:
*laugh softly*
"Too easy. Find another super ultra difficult one, kay?"

Juat fyi, i try to find prof with kindness when they explain. Even kindest prof turn down what i find. I just can't imagine if my 'dosbing' is that one.. the evil-est prof among all evil prof in my major.

As the deadline for title-entry come closer, i still don't have any thought to browsed another research. Oh man, nothing. Just.way.too.lazy.to.do.that.
I'll just entry that easy one. My dosbing will change it anyway.
Yet, this lazy lady still want to graduate very soon. I will find a way to overcome this over-laziness. I have to graduate soon.
No.matter.what!!

Fighting spirit come to meeeeee!!!!!!! Me and my skripsweet need youuu so bad !!
